I bet you’re feeling it too. The eye-strain and tension headache, the stiffness from sitting for too long, the energetic heaviness that leaves us feeling on edge, spacey or just plain exhausted.
And it’s not only the physical response; replacing activities we’re used to doing face-to-face with a two dimensional screen can take a huge toll on our emotional health and creative energy.
In this two-part workshop, Emily Jeanne Brown and Eve Marie Mugar will guide participants through an exploration of our relationships to screens and devices by tapping into our bodies, our creativity, and the undeniable power of human connection.
Agenda for the weekend:
-Friday 8/14, 7-8:30pm: Embodiment Tools for before, during and after Zoom calls & Journaling
-Saturday 8/15 DAY OFF: Creative Assignment
-Sunday 8/16, 1-3pm: Community Embodiment work & creative sharing/reflection
What you will come away with:
-Tools for promoting energy, grounding and engagement for BEFORE, DURING and AFTER a video call
-A beautiful PDF with all exercises clearly described so you can come back to them after the workshop
-A piece of artwork that will serve as a reminder of the discoveries you make over the weekend.
