Emily Jeanne Brown is a classically trained actor and legit soprano with a knack for physical comedy and making heightened text her own. She plays intelligent young leading ladies, misunderstood “good girls” with a dark side, and witty type-A’s with a lot of heart. Emily has performed regionally and in New York City at theaters including American Conservatory Theatre, The Guthrie, Alabama Shakespeare Festival, American Shakespeare Center, The New Ohio and The Flea. In October 2018, she performed her original solo show, “SHE WOLF”, a re-construction of Shakespeare’s Margaret of Anjou, at The Tank in New York.

Emily received her B.A. in Theater at Smith College in Northampton, MA and her M.F.A. in Acting at American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco, CA. She is represented by Henderson Hogan and is a proud member of the Actors’ Equity Association.
